A grandfather's video recorder, pets, gatherings and images from the uncertain years of 1998 and 1999 reveal a common life embraced by a historical event.。星仔（何国裕）乃边缘少年，四处惹事，与好友阿旦（陈俊年）、艇仔（刘伟民）结成童党。向黑社会人物阿森（吴毅将）挑衅。森已经收手，眼见星误入歧途，决加诱导。星终被另一大哥阿吉（连伟健）看中，吉挑拨森与星之间的感情，其中导致森与女友（陈颖芝）分手。星受吉利诱，结果身陷险境。此时森为救星，与吉激烈火并，只可惜..........。
